ABOUT THE BRAND
In 2018, Ogechuckwu Ajibe launched Oge Ajibe, a clothing line driven by a vision of ethical production, sustainability, and inclusivity. Our brand takes immense pride in offering our clients garments that embody both comfort and confidence.
At Oge Ajibe, we believe in the perfect blend of comfort and fashion, embracing the uniqueness of every body. Our commitment to sustainable fashion sets us apart, as we strive to make a positive impact on the environment. We are dedicated to uplifting individuals who have been underrepresented in the fashion industry, particularly due to their body size.
As a black-owned and sustainable fashion brand, Oge Ajibe champions confidence and inclusion. All our garments are meticulously made to order in Canada, catering to a broad range of sizes from XS to 5X. To uphold our commitment to sustainability, we exclusively use eco-friendly and sustainably sourced materials, such as 100% cotton, recycled, and dead stock fabric.
Each piece is skillfully crafted to celebrate and accentuate the unique curves of every individual. At Oge Ajibe, ethical production, sustainability, and inclusion are not mere buzzwords; they are principles we live by every day. We ensure that everyone involved in the production process is fairly compensated for their time and expertise.
Currently, Oge Ajibe is a one-woman team, with our founder, Ogechukwu Ajibe, personally overseeing every aspect, from pattern marking and sample making to garment construction and marketing. All of this is done from her mini studio downtown, ensuring hands-on care and attention to detail.
In conclusion, Oge Ajibe stands for more than just a clothing line; it represents a movement towards responsible fashion that celebrates diversity, empowers individuals, and nurtures the environment. We invite you to join us on this journey of comfort, style, and conscious choices.
