About the Brand
THE BRAND
Oge Ajibe was launched in 2018 by Ogechuckwu Ajibe. OgeAjibe is a clothing line made with ethical production, sustainability and inclusivity in mind. We pride ourselves on being able to provide our clients with comfort and confidence. We hope you love it.
INSPIRATION
Oge Ajibe is about being comfortable and fashionable in one’s body. Oge Ajibe is also about sustainable fashion.
The brand serves to showcase and uplift people underrepresented in the fashion industry due to their body size. We aim to achieve this goal and keep the environment in mind. Oge Ajibe uses only eco-friendly and sustainable products when manufacturing our products.
SUSTAINABILITY AND INCLUSION
Oge Ajibe is a black-owned and sustainable fashion brand that promotes confidence & inclusion. All our garments are made to order in Canada, and we carry a large range of sizes from XS-5X. We only use sustainably sourced 100% cotton as well as recycled and dead stock fabric. Each garment is crafted to fit every body and show off their unique curves.
ETHICAL PRODUCTION
Oge Ajibe is a brand that chooses ethical production, sustainability and inclusion every day. We are committed to production pathways where everyone involved is adequately compensated for their time and skill.
Currently, Oge Ajibe is a one-woman team. The pattern marking, sample making, garment construction and marketing are all done by our founder, Ogechukwu Ajibe. Everything is produced in-house from her mini studio downtown.
